Today, the Executive Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Hon. Jacob Oluwale Ogundiran, convened an expanded security meeting at the Edi Elegba Oorelope Local Government Secretariat.

The Honorable Chairman greeted all prominent leaders, emphasizing the need to strengthen security measures to protect the entire community from potential dangers. He stressed that preparation is essential to safeguard the community effectively.
He highlighted the tireless efforts of the Executive Governor of Oyo State to ensure the safety of all residents against threats from terrorists, assuring the community that they are well-positioned to provide protection.

Ogundiran acknowledged the current challenges in the country, urging a focused approach to internal issues with justice to prevent terrorist infiltrations in the community. He called for vigilance, advising community members to report any strangers to security agencies, so harmony can be maintained. The primary emphasis should be on security and the welfare of the community.


The DPO of the Nigeria Police Force at the Oorelope headquarters commended the Executive Chairman for his exemplary leadership, noting that his support has enabled the police to perform their duties effectively. Since his posted in Oorelope, there have been positive security outcomes.
The DPO praised Ogundiran for his proactive measures and commitment, which have inspired the police force to be more vigilant in protecting lives and property. Other security agencies also contribute to this effort, and the DPO recognized Ogundiran as a true son of Igboho for consistently addressing community needs and supporting security forces, including the Nigeria Police Force, Operation Burst, DSS, Civil Defense, Amotekun, and Immigration.
Attendees of the meeting included the Vice Chairman, Secretary to the Local Government, Head of Local Government Administration, Director of Administration and General Services, Representative of the Transitional Council Chairman, members of the Transitional Council, the president of Ifelodun Omo Igboho, the DPO, and various representatives from the Nigeria Army, DSS, Civil Defense, Immigration, Amotekun, and others.
