Staff of the Oyo State Governor’s Digital Media Unit and online publishers on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, hosted a surprise birthday reception for the Special Assistant to the State Governor on Digital Media, Fisayo Segun Daramola.
The gathering was organized by staff members led by the Unit’s social media handler, Onyekachi Amara.
The surprise celebration took place at Room 82, Oyo State Ministry of Education, where Fisayo was greeted by a chorus of solidarity songs and happy birthday wishes.
The staff members and online publishers presented Fisayo with beautiful birthday cards, cake, and life-sized portraits of himself.
Speaking during the event, Akindele Alabi, one of the Digital Media Unit staff, described the day as special and thanked God for the gift of life, strong health, and prosperity.
He added that the birthday party had been organized by the staff of the Unit and some online publishers to show their love for the governor’s aide.
Fisayo, who was genuinely surprised, thanked the staff for the surprise reception and for their show of love.
He assured that he would continue to appreciate their effort.
The reception was characterized by talking drum, saxophone, and birthday songs by the staff and guests present at the event.
Notable attendees included former state assembly lawmaker Mogaji Olamide Akinajo, SSA to the Governor on New Media Olamide Olorundare, SSA to the Governor on Student Affairs Victor Olojede, and Chairman Oyo State Youth Agency, Prince Adebowale Falana.
