One Year of Progress: Oyo Agency for Youth Set to Host Novelty Match on Thursday

In line with the First anniversary of the Chairman of Oyo State Agency for Youth Development, Hon Adebowale Adebayo Falana, to commemorate this achievement, the agency is set to host a novelty match, showcasing the talents and potential of young athletes in Pacesetter State.

It would be recalled that the official ceremony commenced on Friday, 16th May 2025, with a press briefing equally on Tuesday, 20th May 2025, a one-year in-office celebration took place at the local government Hall, Secretariat, Ibadan.

Tomorrow thursday 22nd May 2025 is scheduled for a Novelty Match scheduled to take place at Adamasingba stadium, Ibadan, Viz;

1. Association of Local Government Chairmen of Nigeria, Oyo State (ALGON) VS People’s Democratic Party (PDP).

2. Oyo State Agency for Youth VS Oyo State House House of Assembly (OYHA)

The event promises to be an exciting display of sportsmanship and skill, bringing together young football enthusiasts from across Oyo State.

Invariably, the novelty match is part of the agency’s efforts to promote youth development, empowerment, and socialization through sports.

Over the past year, the Oyo Agency for Youth has implemented various initiatives aimed at engaging and supporting young people. These initiatives have focused on education, skill acquisition, mentorship, and sports development, among other areas.

The novelty match is expected to draw large crowds and serve as a celebration of the agency’s progress and commitment to youth development.
