Ona Ara Chair, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS Lays Foundation for NULGE House at LG Secretariat

The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, on Monday, 23rd February, 2026, led the management team of the local government to lay the foundation for the proposed Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) House at the Ona Ara Local Government Secretariat.

This development was disclosed in a press statement issued from the Office of the Chairman shortly after the foundation-laying ceremony.

Dr. Glorious was joined at the historic event by top management staff of the council, led by the Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaja Mujidat Ojewumi, alongside the Secretary to the Local Government, Hon. Babatunde Sunmonu, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Arinola Isiaka, Supervisory Councilors, and Special Assistants.

Also present were key departmental heads, including the Director of Administrative and General Services, the Director of Finance, and other senior officials of the local government.

Speaking during the event, am the Chairperson of NULGE in Ona Ara Local Government, Mrs Muraina Sakirat Omolara expressed profound appreciation to the Executive Chairman and the entire management team for their commitment and support in making the NULGE House a reality. The gesture, according to the union, reflects the chairman’s dedication to staff welfare, institutional growth, and strengthened labour relations within the local government.

The foundation laying marks a significant milestone in enhancing administrative infrastructure and promoting a more conducive working environment for local government employees in Ona Ara.
