Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, who is the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland has dismissed claims that he is arrogant, stressing that he remains open, approachable, and committed to uplifting others.

Featuring on Political Circuit, a popular political program anchored by Mayor Isaac Brown on Fresh FM, Ibadan, on Saturday, Adegoke spoke candidly about his journey and values.
“I am a boy who once hawked paints at Oke-Ado. Why won’t I help others to grow? My doors are always open to my staff and anyone who needs me,” he declared, emphasizing his humility and accessibility.

During the live interview, Chief Demola Babalola, popularly known as Dembab and the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Council, proclaimed Adegoke as the Oluaye of Oke-Ado. The recognition underscored his impact within the community and his growing influence in Oyo State’s political landscape.


Chief Babalola noted that Adegoke’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming a respected leader reflects his resilience and commitment to empowering others, particularly the youth.
