Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland and Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, Ibadan, has condemned in strong terms the recent bandit attack in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.

Oloye Adegoke described the incident as a senseless act of violence that has inflicted pain, fear, and hardship on innocent residents of the affected communities. He expressed deep concern over the rising wave of insecurity and its adverse effects on peace, safety, and socio-economic activities in the area.

The Ibadan chief extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in the attack, while also sympathising with residents who sustained injuries or suffered material losses. He prayed for the quick recovery of the injured and for strength and comfort for all those impacted by the unfortunate incident.

Oloye Adegoke further called on security agencies to intensify efforts towards apprehending the perpetrators and to strengthen security across Oriire Local Government and its environs. According to him, the protection of lives and property remains a fundamental responsibility of government, stressing that decisive and proactive measures must be taken to prevent a recurrence of such attacks.
