A prominent community leader and businessman, Alhaji Babatunde Ologburo, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Saheed Adetunmbi Ige on his recent appointment as a member of the Governing Council of the Oyo State College of Agriculture and Technology, Igboora.

Dr. Ige, a seasoned academic and lecturer at Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, was named among the newly appointed members of the college’s governing council, following a recent announcement by the Oyo State Government.
In a statement made available to journalists, Alhaji Ologburo described the appointment as well-deserved, citing Dr. Ige’s unwavering commitment to education, public service, and grassroots development.

He praised Governor Seyi Makinde for recognizing and rewarding individuals who have contributed meaningfully to his administration’s success.


“This appointment is a testament to the fact that Governor Seyi Makinde values commitment, loyalty, and service to the people,” Ologburo said. “Dr. Saheed Ige has consistently demonstrated excellence and dedication, not only in academia but also in community development.

Alhaji Ologburo also commended the governor for what he described as a leadership style that promotes meritocracy and inclusivity,

saying the governor’s approach continues to inspire confidence among professionals and political stakeholders in the state.
He expressed confidence that Dr. Ige’s inclusion in the council will further enhance the institution’s mission of promoting agricultural education and technological advancement in Oyo State.
