A prominent community leader and international businessman, Alhaji Babatunde Ologburo, has lauded the humanitarian efforts of Dr. Quadri Tella, an Oyo-born medical doctor and recent recipient of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Presidential Honour Award.

Dr. Tella was honoured for his exceptional contributions to healthcare during his NYSC year, particularly through his impactful medical outreach, which provided free surgeries and medications to underserved Nigerians.
The NYSC Presidential Honour Award is one of the highest recognitions given to corps members for outstanding contributions during national service.

Speaking on the achievement, Ologburo described Dr. Tella’s recognition as “well-deserved and inspiring,” noting that his selfless service is a source of pride for Oyo State and a motivation for other young professionals.

He described Prince Tella as “a shining example and a model whose exemplary lifestyle should serve as an inspiration for the younger generation.”

He commended the doctor’s commitment to service, saying his dedication, selflessness, and compassion have brought pride to Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole.
Alhaji Ologburo further called on government at all levels, corporate organisations, and well-meaning individuals to support young professionals like Dr. Tella, who are making meaningful contributions to society. According to him, encouraging such initiatives will go a long way in building a healthier and more compassionate nation.
