A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Ambassador Abdulsabur Abiola Olawore, has extended warm congratulations to Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire PDP family in Oyo State following the successful conduct of the party’s state congress.

The congress, held at the Adamasingba Sports Complex in Ibadan, was widely praised for its peaceful atmosphere, transparent processes, and high level of coordination. Party delegates, stakeholders, and supporters commended the seamless organization, which many described as a testament to the party’s growing internal unity and discipline.
Ambassador Olawore, who is also the Mogaji of the Odefunke family of Beere, Ibadan, applauded the leadership of Governor Makinde, attributing the success of the congress to his commitment to stability and inclusive governance within the party.

“I congratulate our exceptional leader, Governor Seyi Makinde, whose purposeful and resilient leadership continues to strengthen and stabilize the PDP in Oyo State,” Olawore said.


He also congratulated Prince Dayo Ogungbenro on his re-election as State Chairman of the PDP, along with all newly elected and returning members of the State Executive Committee.
Key outcomes of the congress include the re-election of Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro as State Chairman and the election of Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke as Deputy State Chairman. Other principal officers elected include:
