Ogunsina Holds Media Parleys With New Media Journalists, PDP Media Team

Mr Michael Ogunsina, the PDP acting publicity secretary of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has held a meeting with new media journalists and members of the PDP Media Team.

The meeting which took place at the Party’s secretariat, Molete borderd on discussions on future, plans and ideas, reviewing the PDP media structure and operations and integration of the newly sworn in local government chairmen into showcasing their activities in the media.

Mr Ogunsina commended the new media journalists and members of the PDP Media Team for their support and commitment to the party so far while also promising that the party will do its best to protect their interests.
While addressing the members of the fourth estate, Ogunsina stressed the need for journalists to maintain accuracy and balance in their reports in order not to run foul of the law. He implored them to always reach out to both sides in order to have accurate and balanced stories.

The PDP acting spokesman also commended the Oyo State Governor for being a worthy ambassador of the party upon which other political office holders draw their inspiration and motivation from.

The SSA to the Governor on Digital Media, Mr Daramola Fisayo called for synergy between the PDP media team and the government. He also implored the journalists to shun any libelous story that could put them into trouble.

Mr Fisayo while addressing the journalists said the government of the day is not out to stifle any media organization because the government has not nothing to hide from the people of the State but the government as well would sit back and watch anyone deliberately misinform the general public about government actions.

Mr Ogunsina also appreciated the effort of Hon. Adedeji Olajide Stanley, member representing Ibadan South West/Ibadan North West Federal Constituency; Hon. Adigun Adekunle Abass Agboworin, member representing Ibadan South East/Ibadan North East Federal Constituency; Hon. Oyesina Oyedeji, member representing Iseyin/Kajola/Iwajowa/Itesiwaju Federal Constituency; Hon. Sunday Ojo Makanjuola, member representing Ogo-Oluwa/Surulere Federal Constituency; Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Seun Ashamu; Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo, Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on local government and chieftaincy matters and Hon. Olusina Ogunsola towards the media parley.

Ogunsina assured them of the Party’s continued support and patronage at all times.
