Ogbomoso North Chairman, Ogunlade appoints Alade Toheeb Media aide, Areo Grace Chief of Staff

MOUTHPIECE NGR reports that the newly elected Executive Chairman of Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade, has appointed Alade Toheeb as media aide.

The Chairman equally appointed Mrs Areo Grace as the new Chief of Staff.

MOUTHPIECE NGR understands that the appointment is coming less than 96 hours the Council Boss was inaugurated by the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, at the House of Chiefs, Ibadan, the state capital, on Friday.

Until his appointment, Alade, who served as campaign Director General on Digital Media prior to the 2024 local government election, was the Secretary of Transition Committee.

While Areo Grace was the Supervisory for women affairs in the last administration under the outgone chairman, Kabir Ayoade.

The Executive Chairman also officially inaugurated the newly elected councillors of Ogbomoso North, emphasizing the need for quality legislation among the councillors.

Following the inaugural session, Hon. Debo Popoola, repressing Sabo/Tara, was elected as House Leader by the 10 councillors while Fatai Samurat of Abogunde Ward emerged as Deputy Leader.

Hon. Tewogbola Sikiru was also elected as majority leader while Hon. Awoyemi Sunday emerged as Chief Whip.
