Official Corruption Allegations: Your allegations baseless, groundless – Oyo PDP Fires Back at APC – Says APC Rejection Immenent

Our attention has been drawn to a disjointed press release credited to the publicity secretary of Oyo State APC, Mr. Wasiu Sadare where he erroneously described the jacking up of Oyo Airport project as “Official Corruption”

We would not have dignified the pathetic APC publicity Secretary with a response because his stock in trade is actually defaming the PDP and the Governor of Oyo State after he has taken his local gin but for the benefit of the unsuspecting good people of Oyo State who love, believe and accept the good works of the Governor and his team, we will make the needed clarification.

It is only one who has serious issues with comprehension and understanding of simple grammar that will not give kudos to the Governor of Oyo State for redefining purposeful governance in Oyo State.

The Statement released by the Commissioner of Information, Prince Dotun Oyelade was not ambiguous and it is one that should have applause of every of Oyo State indigenes, APC members inclusive.

The airport upgrade is an initiative of Seyi Makinde led PDP administration and every lover, indigene and resident of Oyo State are excited about the project. The first phase is almost done and in line with international standards operating procedures, the second phase will start immediately so that work will not stop at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola International Airport.

This project will massively increase and improve the revenue of the Pacesetter State and continually put us on the pedestal of prosperity which Governor Seyi Makinde has placed our state. The reason for the jack in the initial cost of the project is the prevailing economic woes bedeviling the country which was brought upon this country by the same APC led Federal Government and our desire to ensure that beyond giving excuses like the APC, we deliver on our promises to build a massive international airport in Oyo State.

The deliberately mischievous APC publicity secretary read the press release of the commissioner for Information and instead of praising the Governor on the below information that is included in the release, he decided to goof.

For the people of Oyo State, the Executive Council of Oyo State chaired by the State Governor apart from the upgrade of the Ladoke Akintola International Airport also approved

1. Repair, Rehabilitation and remodeling of schools within Oyo State
2. These schools will have perimeter fencing, solar boreholes, solar lights, furnitures and so on
3. The 32.2km of ongoing Senator Rashidi Ladoja circular road will also get over 2 billion naira
4. The phase two of the Safer project which has been a tremendous blessing to the State will start
5. The asphaltic improvement of roads within Ibadan metropolis will continue.

It is sheer wickedness for anyone to see these good and monumental announcements and choose to talk bad of Seyi Makinde.

It is imperative to remind the APC that Oyo State voters and people rejected them in 2019, 2023 and they will reject them again in 2027, we will not go back to the “Egypt” and “Pharaoh”

Let me remind the APC in Oyo State that there is no amount of lies, manipulations and deception that will work on the people of Oyo State.

Seyi Makinde is working and PDP is growing.
