The Balogun of Ibadanland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola, has expressed profound gratitude to prominent dignitaries for the success of the public presentation of his new books, “Ibadan Hegemony” and “Giant Strides.”

Speaking after the well-attended event, Oba Ajibola attributed the success of the launch to the “blessings and mercies of Almighty God,” and the overwhelming support he received from distinguished sons and daughters of Ibadanland.
He gave special recognition to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Oluwaseyi Makinde, and the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Senator Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja, Arusa I, for their generous support and physical presence at the ceremony.

The Balogun of Ibadanland also extended deep appreciation to the Chairman of the Day, Oloye Adegboyega Adegoke “Solutions,” Aregbeomo Balogun, as well as the Co-Host, Oloye Engr. Dotun Sanusi, Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Resorts. He further acknowledged the support of Senator Teslim Folarin, Senator Femi Lanlehin, and the Are Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Dauda Makanjuola (Dedamak).


Other notable personalities appreciated include the Deputy Speaker and members of the Oyo State House of Assembly; the Chief Judge of Oyo State; members of the Olubadan-in-Council, especially those in attendance: Oba Amidu Ajibade Ashipa Olubadan, Oba Azeez Agagagugu Ashipa Balogun, Oba Mobolaji Adewoyin, Ekerin Balogun; as well as Ibadan High Chiefs and Senior Chiefs, including Oloye Lekan Alabi, and other royal fathers.
Oba Ajibola also acknowledged the presence and support of the leadership of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII); the Council of Mogajis, led by its President Mogaji Asimiyu Ariori; and several Mogajis including Mogaji Wole Arisekola, Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Retired Chief Justice Badejoko Adeniji, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, Mogaji Aliwo Kamaldeen Giwa, Mogaji Ile Ganga, Mogaji Egunjenmi, Admiral Ibikunle, Mogaji Lanlehin, Chief Adeniyi Akintola (SAN), and Bolaji Ayorinde (SAN).
He further expressed gratitude to the Council of Iyalode, the Council of traditional Baales, honorary chiefs, invited guests from within and outside Ibadan, and the entire people of Ibadanland for their solidarity.

The monarch offered special commendation to the Book Launch Planning Committee, chaired by Professor Soji Adejumo, Ajiroba of Ibadanland, and other distinguished sons and daughters who worked tirelessly to ensure seamless execution of the programme.
He also appreciated the Amotekun Corps, other security agencies, OYRTMA, and the print, social, and electronic media, particularly the management of BCOS, for their roles in the successful outing.
