NIsafetyE Partners Oyo State Hospital Management Board on Health and Safety …Gov. Makinde’s Commitment to Healthcare Lauded

The Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers (NIsafetyE), a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, has paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi, in his office at the Secretariat, Ibadan.

Engr. Faluyi highlighted the intrinsic link between health and safety, stressing that ensuring safety is crucial to safeguarding health.

He emphasized the institution’s commitment to collaborating with the Oyo State Hospital Management Board to strengthen health and safety in the state.

Dr. Fagbemi who welcomed the partnership, acknowledging the board’s 30-year existence and its 58 secondary health facilities providing quality healthcare across the state.

Dr. Fagbemi appreciated Governor Engr. Oluseyi Makinde’s appointment of a Safety Ambassador and his focus on healthcare delivery.

He looked forward to organizing a sensitization workshop with the institution to educate healthcare professionals and the public on health and safety.

This visit marks the beginning of a promising partnership between NIsafetyE and the Oyo State Hospital Management Board, aimed at promoting health and safety in the state.
