The Executive Chairman Ibadan South West Local Government Hon (Ambassador) Kehinde Adeyemi Akande (Eletu1) has congratulated the residents of Ibadan South West Local Government, Oyo state and Nigerians in general on the occasion of 64th independence day.
The Council boss maintained in his congratulatory message that the people of Ibadan South West LG and Nigerians in general should continue to pray for a peaceful Nigeria as we celebrate this year independence day.
Hon Akande emphazised that the nation is facing serious economic melt down and everyone need to intensify prayer so as to come out of the economic situation ravaging the country
He however stressed the need for Nigerians to live in peace, harmony and be their brothers keeper in order to move the nation forward, he further said As Nigeria celebrates its independence,citizens are encouraged to promote national cohesion, foster economic growth, and ensure equal opportunities for all.
The council boss then admonished all to continue to support Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde at the state level and his administration at the Local Government level for more dividends of democracy.
