If only PBAT knew the extent of the damage the State of Emergency declaration on River State has caused to our democratic process and diplomatic relations, even with fellow African nations.

It’s reminiscent of the story of Moses in the Bible, who felt compelled to lead Israel out of slavery in Egypt. However, Moses’ assumption that killing the Egyptians was the solution ultimately led to more trouble, even among his own people. It wasn’t until an Israelite confronted him, asking if he would kill him too, that Moses realized his mistake (Exodus Chapter 2).
Similarly, PBAT’s actions may have been well-intentioned, but they have ultimately caused harm to our democratic institutions and relationships with other nations.

Effective diplomacy is crucial in preventing such damage, as it fosters cooperation, understanding, and peaceful resolution of conflicts.

Just as Moses learned from his mistakes, PBAT can also learn from this experience and work towards rebuilding and strengthening our democratic processes and diplomatic relations.
