Dr. Adekemi Felicia Opatunde has recently taken on the role of APC Woman Leader for Oyo State, bringing with her a wealth of experience as a dedicated educationist with a profound commitment to transforming lives. Holding a PhD in Educational Management, she has cultivated a successful career in education and has served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Oyo State Governor. Throughout her career, she has become a fervent advocate for community development and women’s empowerment.
Dr. Opatunde’s tenure has been distinguished by her collaboration with visionary leaders who prioritize peace and security, acknowledging the government’s fundamental responsibility for the safety of lives and properties within the state.
Her contributions to women’s empowerment are noteworthy; she has successfully provided vocational training and financial support to 120 women and 20 youth corps members. Under her vision of “Building a Better Oyo,” Dr. Opatunde is focused on Welfarism, Inclusiveness, and Service, ensuring that citizens’ voices are heard and actively included in decision-making processes.
