Chief Sunday Olusegun Babanumi has fulfilled his promise to pay the WAEC fees of 52 students from Ibadan North West and Ibadan South West Local Governments. This generous gesture was made through his Sunday Olusegùn Babanumi Initiative (S.O.B.I) on January 27, 2025, ensuring the students met the payment deadline set by the examination body.

The students and their parents have expressed gratitude for this kind act, which has brought significant relief to the families.

“This is a good initiative in accordance with Governor Seyi Makinde’s agenda for education”

Chief Babanumi, also known as the Mayegun of Iroko Ekiti, has reassured his constituents of his commitment to providing financial and economic support. He has also solicited their support for the PDP and his aspiration to represent them in the National Assembly.

It’s worth noting that Chief Babanumi’s initiative gesture, is not an isolated case. He has previously empowered many traders during the last December 2024 at his end of the year party, whereby he gave cash to support their trade and distributed food items to his people.
