Mayegun Babanuni Hosts Grand New Year Party in Ibadan

In a show of unity and celebration, Mayegun Sunday Olusegun Babanuni, a prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and an international business tycoon, hosted a grand New Year party on January 1, 2025.

The event brought together members of the Mayegun Sunday Babanuni Forum from Ibadan South-West and Ibadan North-West Local Government Areas, alongside other dignitaries and community leaders.

The New Year celebration, held in the heart of Ibadan, Oyo State, was marked by camaraderie and goodwill.

Representatives from the two local governments praised Mayegun Babanuni for his outstanding leadership qualities and his commitment to community development.

Hon. Tunde Adisa, a prominent figure from the forum, described Mayegun Babanuni as “a good leader and listener who loves everyone around him.

” Adisa emphasized that his inclusive and compassionate approach has earned him the admiration of many in the community.

Similarly, Otunba Fiwajoye Abiodun commended Babanuni’s philanthropic spirit. “He is a peacemaker and a philanthropist. He has organized monthly outreaches and has carried out numerous humanitarian activities, often without seeking recognition,” he noted.

The New Year party provided an opportunity for members to reflect on the past year and look forward to a brighter future. It also highlighted Mayegun Babanuni’s dedication to fostering unity and development in the region.

In response, Mayegun Babanumi appreciates the forum and acknowledges the strength of the party People Democratic Party in Oyo State while saluting the governor Engr Seyi Makinde and the party secretary, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke.
