Hon. Kehinde Giwa, a leading People’s Democratic Party (PDP) aspirant for the House of Representatives, representing the Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to Governor Seyi Makinde for his unwavering commitment to the welfare of Oyo State workers.

In a statement released to commemorate May Day, Hon. Giwa acknowledged the dedication and hard work of workers across all sectors in Oyo State, recognizing their pivotal role in the state’s progress and development. He particularly highlighted the symbiotic relationship between the workers’ commitment to their duties and the state government’s reciprocal dedication to ensuring their well-being.

“Today, as we celebrate the invaluable contributions of workers nationwide, I am particularly moved to commend Governor Seyi Makinde for his consistent efforts in prioritizing the welfare of Oyo State’s workforce,” Hon. Giwa stated.

“Governor Seyi Makinde led administration has demonstrated a clear understanding of the importance of a motivated and well-supported workforce, which is essential for the sustainable growth of our state.”

He further emphasized the significance of May 1st, a day traditionally set aside in Nigeria to honour workers across all sectors and organizations.

“May Day serves as a reminder of the vital role workers play in our society. It is a day to acknowledge their resilience, dedication, and the sacrifices they make to contribute to our collective progress,” he added.
