Makinde’s Security Vision Reflected as Sanda Commissions Olubadan Estate Project, Pledges Continued Support

It was a moment of joy as residents of Olubadan Estate welcomed the First citizen and Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government who doubled as the Chairman of all the Chairmen in Oyo State (ALGON CHAIRMAN), Hon. Sanda Sikiru to the commissioning of the newly constructed edifice of Olubadan Estate Gate.

General W.A. Yusuf (Rtd), General Chairman of the Olubadan Estate Central Association, welcomed and expressed profound gratitude to special dignitaries who graced the commissioning of the newly constructed edifice of Olubadan Estate Gate.

In his commissioning speech, Hon. Sanda Sikiru confirmed the initiative of the leadership of the estate as in tandem with the one of the cardinal point of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde as he takes the issue of security in the state as a major priority, lauded the residents of Olubadan Estate for their commitment, highlighting key initiatives that have had a positive impact to the development of Olubadan Estate, stating “Olubadan Estate is the neighboring estate to the newly upgraded international Airport” also reiterated commitment to continuous support to development of Olubadan Estate, He therefore slashed a sum of two million naira only (#2m) to support the Olubadan Estate developmental projects.

While delivering his speech the council chairman mentioned that the estate as one of the 25 estates we have in Oyo State, the Olubadan Estate at all Motors area of Alakia is the only estate named after the Olubadan and that’s why it needs more attention from the government, many developmental projects that were done in the past by different notable politicians including Gov. Seyi Makinde was also mentioned.

The Deputy Majority Leader, Oyo State House Assembly, Hon. Olasunkanmi Babalola, lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for providing good governance to the people of Oyo State & also made reference to the excellent performance of Governor Makinde’s administration while also slashed a sum of five hundred thousand naira only (#500,000) to support the ongoing project in the Estate.

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, represented by Mogaji Koleosho Abiodun Ruben, lauded the residents for their commitment while also made financial donations to support ongoing projects in the estate.

In the heartfelt appreciation, the residents of Olubadan Estate express their heartfelt to The Executive Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, Hon. Sanda Sikiru and the Deputy Majority Leader, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olasunkanmi Babalola for their unwavering support and commitment to the development of the Estate
