The Chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle, popularly known as Don, on his victory in the Ibadan North Federal Constituency by-election, while also commending the outstanding performance of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
In his message, Hon. Salami said Oyekunle’s victory was well-deserved, describing it as a testament to his dedication, competence, and strong connection with the people. He added that the result reflected the confidence constituents have in his leadership.
He further attributed the resounding success of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the polls to the exemplary leadership of Governor Makinde, noting that the governor’s performance has continued to strengthen the trust of the people in the party.
Expressing optimism about Oyekunle’s legislative journey, Salami said he was confident the new lawmaker would represent Ibadan North with integrity, vision, and passion. He assured that despite the huge task ahead, Oyekunle was well-prepared to deliver people-centered service and impact.
Salami concluded by wishing Hon. Oyekunle a successful tenure in office, describing the victory as a new chapter of hope for the constituency.
