Ibadan, Oyo State — The lawmaker representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi (popularly known as Wale Canada), has praised Governor Seyi Makinde’s developmental leadership, describing his achievements as “transformational milestones that have positioned Oyo State for sustainable progress and continuity beyond 2027.”
Speaking with journalists in Ibadan shortly after the commissioning of the Ibadan Central Bus Terminal and the approval of the Igboho–Kishi Road construction, Hon. Wale Canada — who also serves as the Chairman, House Committee on Health — commended the Governor for what he termed “a visionary blend of infrastructural and human development initiatives.”

He added that such landmark projects reflect the Governor’s dedication to balanced development across all zones of the state, ensuring that both urban and rural communities benefit from government interventions.

Hon. Wale Canada further lauded the Governor for transforming Oyo State into a hub of opportunity through strategic investment in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, and youth empowerment, stressing that these initiatives have elevated the standard of governance and deepened citizens’ trust in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
He reaffirmed the commitment of the PDP legislators in the Oyo State House of Assembly to continue working in harmony with the executive arm to consolidate on the achievements of the Makinde-led administration.
