MAKINDE’s COMMISSIONER BALOGUN CELEBRATES THE GRAND CHIEF IMAM OF OYO STATE ON HIS BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY

The Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in Oyo State, Hon. (Mrs) Oluwatoyin Balogun, has extended her heartfelt congratulations to His Eminence, Fadilat Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Abubakry Agbotomokekere, the Grand Chief Imam of Oyo State, on the occasion of his birthday.

Hon. (Mrs) Balogun described the Grand Imam as a towering spiritual father whose just,fair & inclusive leadership,stabilizing influence ,unwavering prayers & support for my Principal His Excellency Governor Makinde and his Solomon wisdom have brought guidance, peace, and progress to not only the Muslim Ummah but across the entirety of Oyo State.

“Today, I felicitate with our reverred father, His Eminence, Fadilat Sheikh Abdul Ganiy Abubakry Agbotomokekere. His life has been a source of inspiration to many, myself inclusive,marked by unwavering commitment to faith, community service, and peacebuilding,” she said.

Hon. Balogun commended the Grand Imam’s consistent advocacy for moral uprightness, social justice, and religious tolerance, especially in a time when unity is crucial to societal development.

“We pray Almighty Allah continues to bless His Eminence with good health, long life, and renewed strength to lead the Ummah and grace to continue advice and uphold His Excellency in the place of prayer to enable the continued actualization of his vision for the development and industrialization of our dear state,” she added.
