Makinde receives Governor of the Year 2023 Award Tuesday
Oyo State governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, will receive the Leadership Governor of the Year 2023 Award on Tuesday.
Makinde had earlier been selected by the Leadership Newspaper as recipient of its prestigious Governor of the Year Award on account of the massive infrastructure development projects and good governance in Oyo State, under his watch.
The newspaper, during a visit by its management, hailed Governor Makinde for the quantum leap made by Oyo State in the areas of economic growth as well as other excellent achievements across different sectors.
The governor, who maintained that the award will spur his administration to do more for Oyo State, will personally pick up the award at a ceremony billed to take place at the Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja, by 10 a.m.
