Oyo State Government has handed over 31 Surgical equipment to the Ring-Road State hospital for surgical excellence, and providing comprehensive medical services to the people of the state.
The medical equipment which was delivered by Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde who was represented by the Executive Assistant to the Governor on Administration, Reverend Idowu Ogedengbe emphasized the importance of the equipment to Enhance the hospital’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services to the people of the state.
He appealed to the hospital’s management and staff to ensure proper maintenance of the medical equipment, emphasizing the importance of preserving the equipment for longevity and durability.
In his remarks, The Chief Medical Director of Ring-Road State Hospital, Dr Aremu Oladipo expressed his gratitude to Governor Seyi Makinde for providing the equipment to help in surgical operation for patients in the hospital.
He posited that the equipment would go a long way in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness in providing quality healthcare services to the people.
In his welcome address, the Chairman Oyo State Hospital Management Board, Dr. Akin Fagbemi who was represented by the Director of Medical Services, Dr. Olufemi Adesanya expressed gratitude to Oyo State Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde for procurement of medical equipment to hospital in the state for quality healthcare services, and to ensure sustainable healthcare delivery to the people.
The Medical equipment handed over are; Patient Monitor, Operating Microscope, Cataract Set & Surgeon Chair, Oxygen Outlet, Humidifier, 4/4 Manifold, Ceiling mounted Operating Unit, Diathermy Machine, Operating Thearter Table, and Anesthetic Machine.
