Makinde Full of Quality Leadership, Says Wale Canada, Hails Gov. Makinde Over New PDP Secretariat 

Ibadan, Oyo State —

A member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atisbo/Saki-East State Constituency, Hon. Saminu Riliwan Gbadamosi (Wale Canada), has described Governor Seyi Makinde as a leader “deeply rooted in quality leadership, vision, and sustainable governance,” noting that his administration has redefined democratic dividends in Oyo State.

Hon. Wale Canada made this remark while speaking on the significance of the newly constructed Oyo State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Secretariat, a landmark project unveiled as part of activities marking Oyo State at 50 (Oyo@50).

According to the lawmaker, the commissioning of the modern party secretariat is more than an infrastructure achievement; it symbolizes Governor Makinde’s unwavering commitment to institutional development, party unity, and democratic consolidation.

“Governor Seyi Makinde has consistently demonstrated quality leadership anchored on accountability, inclusiveness, and long-term vision.

The completion of this PDP Secretariat at a historic moment like Oyo@50 clearly reflects his belief in building strong institutions that will outlive political tenures,” Wale Canada said.

He noted that the golden jubilee celebration of Oyo State provides an opportunity for reflection on past leadership styles while appreciating the present administration’s efforts in setting new governance standards through people-oriented policies, infrastructural renewal, and political stability.

Hon. Wale Canada further commended the governor for strengthening the PDP as a progressive political platform, stressing that the new secretariat will serve as a hub for strategic planning, party administration, and grassroots engagement across the state.

“As Oyo State celebrates 50 years of existence, the Makinde administration has given the people renewed hope that leadership can indeed be purposeful, transparent, and impactful. This is governance with a human face,” he added.
