*Makinde, Deputy, Commissioners, Others to Grace Agboworin’s Empowerment Programme On Saturday*
Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, the Deputy Governor, Barr. Bayo Lawal, serving commissioners and a number of top government functionaries in the state, will be joining His Excellency in the empowerment programme organised by the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal constituency, Rep Abass Adigun Agboworin.
The programme, which is billed to hold tomorrow (Saturday), is aimed at empowering hundreds of market traders and artisans in the constituency.
Since Governor Makinde took over the reins of power in 2019, this will be the first time he will appear in a programme facilitated by a member of House of Representatives in the state.
Other top political leaders in the constituency will equally grace the ocassion.
At the event, which will be holding at Apex Hall, opposite Yidi Ground, Agodi Gate, Ibadan, the lawmaker will be disbursing fund to beneficiaries, who are drawn from all the markets in the Constituency, to enlarge the scope of their small and medium scale businesses.
The federal lawmaker believes empowering women through entrepreneurial training will have significant impact on not only their lives but also their communities and socioeconomic wellbeing.
