The Commissioner for Women Affairs & Social Inclusion/representative of Ibadan North Local Govt on the Oyo State Executive Council; Hon( Mrs) Toyin Balogun has extended her
utmost respect to her Principal; His Excellency Governor Makinde for his dispassionate objectivity in what was clearly a hard decision to take given the quality and gravitas of the array of brilliant aspirants from her local government( Ibadan North)who threw their hats in the ring to represent her Federal Constituency at the Green Chamber in Abuja.

The amicable resolution forged by His Excellency which birthed a consensual candidate defused a potentially volatile situation and it is a testament which underscores the outstanding leadership capacity,conflict resolution and negotiation skills of His Excellency GSM

She extended her salutation to apex leaders in the state Chief Bayo Lawal(Executive Assistant to His Excellency),His Excellency Hazeem Gbolarumi former Deputy Governor,Chief Ismaila Ashipa a notable leader from the local govt & every other leader from the local govt for hand holding the process

She expressed her pride in all the aspirants.She stated that Ibadan North has the largest pool of aspirants at every election cycle who possess immense capacity to add value

She stared further" It has been a truly remarkable journey and I applaud all 8 then aspirants both individually and collectively for their tenacity of purpose,perseverance,creativity in crafting campaign narratives and commitment to the process "

"Their collective decision to submit to and abide by the results of the process and subsequently stepping aside to unanimously support one of them who will continue on a journey which will
culminate in him emerging as the one who will represent the best interest of our constituency at Abuja is a clear indication that they are all upstanding party faithful who have submitted to the supremacy of the party and it's leadership in the person of His Excellency"

"I must say I am proud of every single one of them.As they have honoured our reverred Leader,my Principal GSM,God will honour each and every one of them"

Winning at the August 16 election or any other date fixed by INEC is the Holy Grail that we must ALL commit to bringing back home

We (Ibadan North)are renowned for securing the bag and tipping the scales towards victory during election.This forthcoming bye election should not be different

The converse is not even an option cos the stakes are very high; the forthcoming bye election will be a litmus test cementing the credibility of both our party and our Leader GSM from now till 2027 and beyond

It's my belief that we will do the needful,everything humanly possible to secure victory .By the grace of the Almighty, Project Fola4Rep'25 is a DON DEAL!"
