The Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board , Hon Akeem Ademola Ige has felicitated muslim faithfuls in the pacesetter state, most especially the Acting Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Barrister Bayo Lawal, muslim clerics, retired primary school teachers and local government staff on the occasion of the year 2025 EID-EL-MAULUD celebration which commemorates the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammed ( peace be unto him).
In his congratulatory message to muslim ummah made available to journalists,, Hon Akeem Ige charged them to reflect on the teachings of prophet Muhammed and embrace love , charity, forgiveness, perseverance, tolerance, unity and be fervent in prayers.
He said ” on behalf of the Permanent Secretary, management and entire members of staff, I congratulate all muslim ummah in Nigeria , Oyo State, and our esteemed pensioners on the occasion of the year 2025 Eid -El- Maulud celebration. I pray that you will all celebrate many more years in the land of the living ”
He therefore appealed to muslim faithfuls to continue to pray for government at all levels, federal, state and local, especially Engr. Seyi Makinde led government for Allah to grant him more wisdom to direct the affairs of the state .
“Let us pray for economic stability, peace and progress of our dear nation” he concluded.
