The Oyo State Electoral Commission (OYSIEC) has today, presented Certificates of Return to the winners of the local government election In Egbeda Local Government.

The winner of the Chairmanship election, Hon. Sanda Sikiru Oyedele and his running mate, Hon. Oladebo Simple were presented with Certificates of Return today as the Executive Chairman and Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government

The presentation was done at the headquarters of OYSIEC today where the elected chairmen from the 33 Local Government Areas were presented with certificates of return.

Sanda of the PDP had polled 24,573 votes of the votes returning him as a second council chairman in Egbeda local government.

The candidate of the All Progressive Party (APC) had 5,637 votes.

The presentation of certificates of return to the chairmen at OYSIEC headquarters will be followed by a similar activity for the newly elected councillors across the states.
