Irepo, Olorunsogo, Oorelope Chairmanship Candidates Receive Flags Amidst Rousy Crowd, Welcomes Decampees

The leadership of the Oyo state PDP took her campaign train to Irepo/Oorelope /Olorunsogo federal constituency today where the Chairmanship candidate for Irepo local government, Hon. Tunde Taoheed Olayiwola and his vice chairman, Hon. Sunday Olanipekun, the chairmanship candidate for Olórunsogo Hon. kazeem Olayanju and his vice, Hon. Adetoro Adegbola and the candidate for Oorelope local government Hon. Jacob Ogundiran and his vice Hon. Babatunde Wasiu all took the party flag to represent the party in the forthcoming election on 27 April, 2027.

The campaign which was spearheaded by the Oyo state PDP and the election management committee of the state which has been going round the state to campaign for the party’s candidate in the forthcoming election.

The Director General of the election management committee and the secretary of the party in Oyo state Alh. Wasiu Adeleke led member of the State’s executive council of the party and the election management committee to the campaign in Irepo federal constituency, with him are the Oyo North Senatorial chairman of the party Hon. Yusuf Yinusa, Hon. oladele Saminu, the assistant secretary of the party, Hon. Lawal Muhammed, the assistant auditor, Hon. Micheal Ogunsina, the state youth leader and the acting publicity Secretary amongst others.

Alh. Wasiu Adeleke in his speech enjoin the people to come out in their number on 27 of April to vote all PDP candidate on the ballot as the victory for PDP will birth many other things including various opportunities for party members in the council, he equally assure them that those who struggle and couldn’t get elective positions are not doomed as appointments would be open to them as soon as the party records victory at the polls.

The chairman for Oyo state agency for Mining and Solid Mineral, Hon. Biodun Oni while speaking reminds the people of the federal constituency of the generosity of Governor Seyiu Makinde towards the people of Irepo, Olorunsogo and Oorelope federal constituency and it’s imperative that the people at all time ensure that the governor doesn’t get disappointed by the people, he therefore implore them to begin a massive mobilisation for the party’s across the federal constituency and ensure they record victory in the elections.

Hon. Niyi Adebisi, the commissioner for Establishment and Training and the coordinator for the local government campaign in okeogun zone 2, in his remark commend the unwavering support of the people for the government of the day and their dedication to the affairs of the party, he enjoin the candidates who’s receiving the flag to see it as an opportunity to serve, hence, they must be accommodating to all members of the party.

The campaign was witnessed by every creme-de-la-creme of the party and government in the federal constituency, amongst them are, Hon. Yakubu Ladoja, Hon. Abiodun Oni, Hon. Nasiru ogede, Hon. J.S Amodu, Hon. Ojekunle Ojemuyiwa, Hon. Alani Al-Wajud, Hon. Moses Alao, Com. Bayo Titlayo Sodo, Hon. Badmus Adesola and host of others who graced the event.

Also present at the Campaign are the serving council chairmen, Pastor, Joel Oyetunji, Irepo local government, Hon. Akanni Oluwakemi Juliana and Hon. Raheem Akeem Adepọju, from Olorunsogo and Oorelope respectively, as well as their vice chairmen, councillors and other members of the council across the federal constituency.

In another development, the party also officially receive into the party defectors from opposition parties such as APC, SDP and others, the defectors were led by Alh. Heleen Badmus, Hon. Jimoh Muftau, Comrade Oke Debo, Deacon Ilori Tunji and Hon. Yinusa Waheed all led defectors from.varioius opposition camps.
