LG Poll: Excitement as Ogunlade rounds off ward-campaign in Ogbomoso North with visit to own ward Isale Afon, Aguodo Masifa, others 

The Chairmanship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party in Ogbomoso North Local Government, Hon. George Ogunlade, on Thursday, rounded off his ward campaign with a visit to his Isale Afon ward 04 ahead of the forthcoming local government election. 

Ogunlade, who was cheerfully received by chunks of supporters with several campaign political songs, had earlier visited Masifa-Aguodo ward 03 and other places to seek support.

Ogbomosho North Party Chairman, Hon. Hamzat Ibrahim, Ogbomosho North council Chairman, Hon Kabir Ayoade, Ogbomosho North LCDA Chairperson, Alhaja Adijat Oritoke Rainbow, Chief Yeye Racheal Saka Balogun, Hon. Abdulrahmon Rafael Afonja, Hon. Rabiu Bello, Hon. Damilare Sunday Olusanjo Bsquare and PMS Chairman, Jimoh Aderemi were among those who joined the campaign tour. 

Others were, Prince Tewogbola cashman, Pa Ayoola Amos Ajibesin, Alh, Garuba Edinson, Hon. Jide Oketunbi, Hon. Olarewaju Oladeji Odua, Mr. J.O Folorunsho, Hon. Stephen Opadiran, members of the Campaign Council, Mobilizer of Campaign team, Hon. Ayorinde Lekan Actor, Youth leader Comr, Areo Ajibola Arexie and host of others.

During the campaign tour, Mrs Saka Balogun, who spoke o behalf of her husband, Dr. Saka Balogun, who is the Chairman of Elders Council to Governor Makinde, noted that her husband was unavoidably absent due to a state function in Abuja. 

She commended leaders and members of PDP for standing by the PDP candidate since the beginning of the electioneering campaign, noting that the party will be victorious in the forthcoming election. 

Mrs Balogun, who admonished Ogunlade to be fair with all the party members, equally urged him to keep promoting the good governance of Governor Makinde and ensure that his impact is positively felt across wards in the local government upon his assumption of office. 

In his remarks, Hon. Abdulrahmon Rafael Afonja, the Oyo former Commissioner for Works and Transport,  appreciated the warm reception and support of Isale-Afon ward for their son urging them to come out en-mass on the election day and ensure that he wins overwhelmingly.

Afonja also asked the people of Ogbomoso North to cast their vote for Hon. Ogunlade, pointing out that he is a reliable, trustworthy candidate who will compliment the efforts of Governor Makinde.

The local government chairman, Hon. Kabir Ayoade; Hon. Jide Oketunbi and host of others in their separate remarks however prayed for the success of Ogunlade in the forthcoming election.
