LG Elections: SDP Ona Ara Collapse Structure, Endorses PDP’s Dr. GLORIOUS as GLOWIN Ward Tour Ended at Ward 5

The Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ona Ara Local Government has experienced a significant shift as they collapsed their structure and pledged their support for the People’s Democratic Party’s (PDP) Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS in the upcoming Local Government Elections. This endorsement comes following the successful conclusion of the GLOWIN ward tour, culminating in Ward 5, which belongs to Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS, the PDP Ona Ara Local Government Chairmanship Candidate.

The announcement was made in a press statement signed by the Director General of the GLOWIN Campaign Council, Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, and disseminated through the campaign’s media unit to newsmen in Ibadan.

The event, held at Amuloko Community Primary School, was attended by prominent figures, including the Oyo Deputy Speaker, Honourable Muhammad Abiodun Fadeyi, and the Director General of the Oyo State Liaison Office in Lagos and Abuja, Oloye Ezekiel Oladimeji Temitope, popularly known as OTOPE. The PDP Local Government Chairman, Hon. Mosobalaje Bakare, welcomed the decampees from the SDP, led by the party’s former House of Assembly candidate, Hon. Oladipupo Olalekan, popularly known as Intellectuals.

Additionally, the Baale of Kure land and it’s environs hosted their own, Dr Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS who is the Atunluse of Kureland.

Also the plank sellers at Odeyale, led by Mr. Azeez Abiola, offered prayers for Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS and Hon. Windapo Oluwole, pledging their total support for the PDP’s Chairmanship and Vice Chairmanship Candidates in the forthcoming Local Government Elections.

At the event, Chief Waheed Ajao Adurodekun, the Director General of the GLOWIN Campaign Council, unveiled Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS, Hon. Windapo Oluwole, and Hon. Olagunju Atoba as the Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship, and Councillorship Candidates, respectively, to the general party members and leaders of Ward 5 in Ona-Ara Local Government.

Key party leaders present included the PDP Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman, Hon. Mufutau Olatunde Ogunremi, GLOWIN Deputy Director General, Hon. Taiwo Oke, former Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Buniyamin Azeez, Pa. Oyadiran, and Baba Jimoh Dijo, among others.

The support and endorsement from the SDP Ona Ara Local Government represent a significant milestone for the GLORIOUS Campaign and reinforce the momentum heading into the upcoming Local Government Elections.
