Let’s Rebuild Together – ATISBO Chairman-elect, Alade, Thanks Electorates …Promises To Fulfill Pledges • Appreciates Leaders, Stakeholders, Others

The Chairman-elect of ATISBO local government area, Alhaji Bashir Olumuyiwa Alade has thanked the electorates for the trust and confidence reposed in him during the recently concluded election in Oyo state.

While thanking leaders, stakeholders of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Alade promised the good people of ATISBO local government area that he will fulfill his promises.

He made this known in a statement personally signed by him and made available to newsmen, on Sunday, following his declaration as the Chairman-elect of ATISBO local government area by the Oyo state Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC.

He called on sons and daughters of ATISBO LGA to join him and rebuild together.

The statement titled ‘Let’s Rebuild Together’ read in full: “Let me begin by thanking His Excellency, the governor of Oyo State Engr Seyi Makinde, for providing an atmosphere for democracy to strive in Oyo State. It is worthy of note to say that this is the second time within five years of his administration whereby elections will be conducted in all local governments of Oyo State.

“May I also thank all the wonderful people of ATISBO local government for their support and confidence reposed in me, I am overwhelmed by the sheer volume of votes given to me as the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party.

“I thank all residents of ATISBO local government and friends of ATISBO everywhere who have consistently supported our campaign to rebuild ATISBO local government with prayers, counsel, encouragement, and financial support.

“I thank all the fellow chairmanship candidates of APC and YPP in Atisbo Local Government for their enrichment of the democratic process.

“I also commend the leadership of our great party, the PDP from the ward to the state level for their untiring efforts. I commend in particular, the chairman of our great party in ATISBO local government Alhaji Fatai Ojebisi, members of his executive and all party members who spent their time and energy during AJOSE WA electioneering campaign activities across the length and breath of ATISBO local government.

“My special thanks also goes to all our PDP leaders in ATISBO local government who created time out of their busy schedule to lead our campaign through the communities in Atisbo. Leaders such as Elder Debo Adejumobi, Hon. Barrister Ayobami Ojo, Alhaji Ismail Adedeji, Alhaji Jimoh Adesope, Hon. Samuel Adejumobi, Mrs. Sade Adeojo, Alhaji Malik Hamzat, Dauda Ali, Hon. Makanjuola Ayoola Joe, among others are real progressives worthy of emulation.

“I want to reassure the people of Atisbo that I will not deviate from my pledge to serve them to the best of my ability.

“Our manifesto is in line with Omituntun 2.0, which includes economy, security, education, infrastructure, and youth empowerment, among others. The PDP government, under my leadership, will provide the platform to realise these objectives. We shall achieve this through honesty, justice, transparency, responsiveness, accountability, dedication, and courageous leadership.

“In due course, we shall put together a Policy Advisory Committee. This committee will include eminent personalities who will identify relevant policies and programmes to be implemented in short, medium, and long term.
