“Let’s work together to combat illegal immigrants and the associated security threats in Ido LG”- Hon. Sheriff Adeojo

The Executive Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo has called on residents of his council to collaborate with security agencies to prevent illegal immigrants and it’s associate threats.

“I call on all residents to support our efforts in tackling illegal immigration and promoting community safety.

Together we can build a secure and prosperous Ido for all, report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities” -Hon. Sheriff Adeojo.

The council boss made this call during monthly security meeting with security operatives in his council.

The meeting with security operatives, including the Police , SSS, NSCDC, Operation Burst , Immigration, FRSC and FIB aimed to ensure collaboration among security agencies, discuss security challenges and strategies to promote security.

In their separate responses, the security operatives appreciated the Executive Chairman for his support and timely response in ensuring that Ido Local Government remain a safe haven for all.

The meeting has in attendance; the Vice Chairman- Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina, the Secretary to the local government – Alhaji Kamorudeen Gbadamosi, the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman- Hon. AbdulAzeez Yahaya, Supervisor Councillors, Head of Local Government Administration – Alhaji Aminu Sarafadeen , the Director of Administration and General Services- Mrs Adeshina T.L. among others.
