“Leadership Gov. of the Year Award” : Makinde is a Symbol of Good Governance – Arapaja

The Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja has described the Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde as a symbol of good governance

Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja made this assertion while congratulating Governor Makinde on the leadership Governor of the Year 2023 award bestowed on him today by the Leadership Newspaper in Abuja.

Governor Seyi Makinde had earlier been selected by the said newspaper medium as recipient of its prestigious Governor of the year award on account of the massive infrastructure development projects and good governance under his watch in Oyo State

In the congratulatory statement issued by Amb. Arapaja and made available to journalists through his Personal Assistant, Bamitale Ibrahim, Ambassador Arapaja stated that the essence of governance is to make positive impact in the lives of the people, adding that this is what Governor Makinde is known for since he came on board.

He added that Governor Makinde has set himself apart among his contemporaries in the country in developmental strides he recorded in less than five years of his 8 years tenure.

While commending the management of the Leadership Newspaper for recognizing the good governance of Engr. Makinde led administration, Amb. Arapaja said that the Governor has been able to justify the confidence of the people who rallied around him and voted for him in all the 33 local government areas in the state, adding that the state would continue to witness unprecedented development under Governor Makinde.
