Some things you may not know about our candidate, Hon. Lanre Sarumi, is that he is not only an accomplished software consultant with more than a decade experience, who has mentored and helped others grow in the the industry, but also a servant leader with a deep passion for his community and a relentless drive to bring about positive change.

As the bye-election for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency position draws near, the primary reason we are so passionate about Hon. Sarumi’s candidacy is his profound love for the people of Ibadan North and his innovative mindset—qualities we believe will have a lasting and transformative impact on the constituency.

Hon. Sarumi has consistently shown through his actions that he is a man of the people, dedicated to improving their lives.

In the face of the challenges brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic, he was quick to step in and provide support to the communities across Ibadan North Local Government.

Not only did he provide cash empowerment to families in need, but he also contributed significantly to the Oyo State COVID Trust Fund, showcasing his commitment to both immediate and long-term solutions during a crisis.

In addition to his pandemic relief efforts, Hon. Sarumi has continually risen to the occasion when communities in Ibadan North face difficulties.

Whether it is addressing security concerns or improving infrastructure, he has always found ways to give back.

In areas plagued by insecurity, he donated solar-powered lights to help mitigate risks, ensuring that residents felt safer at night.

His contributions also extend to improving the water supply in the region, as he funded the construction of wells and boreholes, providing fresh, clean water to communities that had previously struggled with access to this basic need.

Hon. Sarumi’s compassion and dedication extend to the student community as well. When students of the Polytechnic Ibadan faced harassment and unhygienic conditions due to a lack of proper toilet facilities, he immediately acted by building and donating new toilets to the institution.

This gesture was a direct response to their concerns, and it demonstrates his unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for every member of the Ibadan North community.

Furthermore, Hon. Sarumi’s loyalty to the PDP is a cornerstone of his political journey.

A true party loyalist, he has always supported party faithfuls and community members alike, working tirelessly to ensure the success of the party in every election.

His dedication to the ideals and values of the PDP, combined with his commitment to serving the people, makes him a standout candidate for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

Hon. Lanre Sarumi is not just a candidate; he is a servant leader who understands the needs of his people and possesses the vision and ability to address them.

His innovative ideas, coupled with his hands-on approach to leadership, will undoubtedly lead to significant progress for the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

As the bye-election approaches, it’s clear that Hon. Sarumi’s character and contributions make him the ideal choice to represent the constituency in the Federal House of Representatives.
