Ibadan, 8th May, 2025

Following the successful commencement of its local government engagements, the leadership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State continued today with Oluyole Local Government.
The meeting, held at the State Party Secretariat, Molete, Ibadan, was presided over by the State Secretary of the Party, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, who represented the State Chairman, Hon. Dayo Ogungbenro.

The strategic meeting had in attendance prominent leaders and stakeholders from Oluyole Local Government including Chief Lasun Salami, Alhaji Mukaila Adégbolá the Local Government Party Chairman; Alhaji Agoro, Alhaji Amsalad, and the Ward 7 Executives.

From the State Party Executive, attendees included Hon. Mufu Ogunremi, the Oyo Central Senatorial Chairman; Michael Ogunsina, the State Youth Leader and Acting Publicity Secretary; Pastor Biodun Popoola, the Assistant State Organizing Secretary; Hon Kunmi Adesina, The State Ex-Officio; and the host, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke.

In a session that lasted several hours, the leadership addressed critical issues affecting the party in Oluyole, with a unanimous commitment to strengthening party unity and sustaining support for Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration.
One of the key resolutions from the meeting was the referral of Hon. Azeez Babalola (Chief of Staff to Oluyole LG), Councillor Hon. Demola Dauda, Mr. Moruff, and the Ward Chairman, Mr. Raji, The Ward Secretary, Mr. Bakare Remi to the Party Disciplinary Committee for necessary action.
The meeting concluded on a positive note, with a collective resolve to reposition the PDP in Oluyole Local Government for continued growth and electoral success.
