BREAKING: APC’s Aiyedatiwa Leads With Over 175k Votes In Ondo Election [See Breakdown Of Results]

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa is currently leading his opposition in the state’s gubernatorial election with over one hundred and seventy-five votes as results of Saturday, November 16 election are being collated.
As per the results released so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Aiyedatiwa, a candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate in has secured a total of 259,851 votes, placing him well ahead of his nearest competitor, Agboola Ajayi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who has garnered 81,031 votes thus far, resulting in a substantial lead of 178,820 votes.

Tumite News reports that only five Local Government Areas (LGAs) remain where results have yet to be announced.

The final collation process began at the INEC office in Akure, the state capital, at approximately 12:35 am.

The Returning Officer for this electoral exercise is Prof. Olayemi Akinwunmi, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Lokoja.
Below is the breakdown of the 13 LGAs where results have so far been announced are:
