Hon. Jimoh Adisa Olabisi (JAO) has been selected as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Oorelope Local Government’s State House of Assembly for the upcoming 2027 general elections.

Adisa obtained the party’s nomination after receiving strong backing from key leaders of the constituency during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting held this evening at the Local Government Secretariat in Idi Elegba, Igboho. This gathering featured significant political figures, elders, and stakeholders from all wards within the Local Government Area, and was described as pivotal for the party’s leadership direction in advance of the elections.

The nomination motion for Hon. Jimoh Adisa Olabisi as the PDP flagbearer for the Oorelope State House of Assembly was proposed by Hon. Lukuman Olawale Balogun and seconded by Alhaji Salam Alagbaje. In response, Hon. Fatia Asipa nominated Hon. Moses Adebayo Alao, which was seconded by Hon.
