Facts have started emerging that the list of candidates of the APC for the 2027 election in Oyo State was compiled by four people at a meeting in Abuja on Saturday.
Investigations revealed that the meeting was held at Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja and had in presence the Chairman of the Nigeeria Revenue Service,Dr Zacheus Adedeji, Senator Yunus Akintunde, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle and Chief of Staff to the Chairman of NRS, Mr Tayo Koleoso.
Investigation revealed that the meeting which was earlier scheduled for Thursday could not hold and was rescheduled to the next day.
The meeting which alloted Governorship,deputy governorship,senatorial and House of Representatives across the state was held even while the APC has not released guidelines for nomination Consensus candidates ahead of the elections.
It also did not include consultation with critical stakeholders of the party like party elders,the state executive Council and established leaders of the party.
Though, Oyo State APC has issued to disclaimer such lists in a statement E-Signed by Chief Alake Adeyemo, the party Chairman.
Party members are not convinced with such disclaimer as strong indications emerged the Transcorp Hilton hotel meeting was real.
