In the build-up to the 2027 gubernatorial election in Oyo State, a prominent political figure and grassroots mobilizer, Hon. Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez codenamed Ijoba Authority Moe, has expressed his commitment to advancing the legacy of Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE if given the opportunity to fly the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) flag come 2027 general elections as gubernatorial candidate.

Speaking at a recent stakeholders’ meeting in Ibadan, MOE stated that he is fully prepared to continue the developmental strides and people-centric policies initiated by Governor Makinde. He emphasized his unwavering loyalty to the PDP and his desire to consolidate the achievements recorded during the current administration.

“I am ready to build on the solid foundation laid by our visionary, Pragmatic leader, Governor Seyi Makinde. If I become the preferred candidate to carry the PDP ticket, I will prioritize sustainable development, continuity in Governance, youth empowerment, and infrastructural transformation across Oyo State,” Moe affirmed.

He further highlighted his passion for education, healthcare, security, Agribusiness and job creation, promising to make Oyo State a model of good governance and inclusive growth. According to him, the continuity of Makinde’s vision is essential for the prosperity and wealth creation of the state and the welfare of its citizens.

“Our administration will not just sustain the gains of Governor Makinde’s tenure but will also expand, explore on them by leveraging innovative solutions and engaging stakeholders across all sectors. Together, we will create a brighter future for Oyo State,” he added.

Hon. Moyosoreoluwa Olamilekan Eldreez called on party members and supporters to rally behind him and strengthen the unity within the PDP, assuring them that he would remain steadfast in promoting the party’s ideals and delivering impactful leadership.

The political atmosphere in Oyo State continues to heat up as various aspirants position themselves for the PDP ticket. However, Moe’s declaration has sparked discussions on his potential to carry on the legacy of Governor Makinde and deliver more transformative leadership to the people of Oyo State.
