It was a moment of joy for residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government as they trooped out en mass to welcome the newly sworn-in Executive Chairman of the Council,Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju and his Vice, Alh Ganiy Abiodun Omotosho into the Council Secretariat.

The Executive Chairman who felt highly honored and delighted appreciated the show of love from the citizenry and promise never to take their loyalty for granted.

Alh Adepoju reiterated that his campaign promises for the people of the council still remain intact stressing that no stone will be left unturned in ensuring that dividends of democracy are felt in all the nooks and crannies of the Council.

The Executive Chairman appreciated his Excellency for the open door policy he is operating in his administration which has given him and other political functionaries to have a level playing feild.

The Council Boss maintained that his second term opportunity as the chairman is not for frivolous activities but to complement the efforts of his Excellency in his ongoing rehabilitation projects in the state.

In the same vein, the Executive Chairman has announced the reappointment of his chief of staff, Hon Kazeem Fantola. He reiterated that his commitment to his schedules and loyalty to him and his working cabinet earned his reappointment. He assured that more appointments will be announced later.

Earlier in her welcome address, the Head of the Local Government Administration, Mrs Olaronke Ige officially welcomed the Executive Chairman and his Vice to office for second term and assured them the unflinching supports of management and staff off the Local government.

Present at the reception party were the wives of the Executive Chairman and Vice Chairman party starlwarts, party supporters, Artisans, Traders, management, staff and well wishers across the nooks and crannies of the Local Government.
