In a remarkable gesture of compassion and grassroots leadership, Hon. Ogunsola Olusina, a leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, has donated food items worth millions of naira to residents in celebration of the forthcoming Eid-el-Kabir.

The distribution, which included several bags of rice and rams, was carried out over the weekend and benefitted party leaders, members, and residents across all wards of the Oluyole Local Government Area.
The initiative forms part of Hon. Ogunsola’s ongoing commitment to alleviating hardship through his well-known humanitarian platform, the Hon. Ogunsola Olusina Foundation, which has consistently impacted lives in the areas of education, healthcare, and community development.

In a statement released to the media, Hon. Ogunsola emphasized that the distribution was driven by compassion and not politics.

> “This is a time for compassion and unity. We must continue to look out for one another, especially those most affected by the current economic situation,” Ogunsola said.

Beneficiaries of the palliative initiative—ranging from the elderly and widows to artisans and youths—expressed deep appreciation for the support, describing the gesture as timely and reassuring.
Hon. Ogunsola also took a moment to commend the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for his recent efforts to subsidize food items for workers in the state.

> “Governor Makinde has once again demonstrated that leadership is about empathy and action. His intervention is a model worth emulating,” he noted.
As Muslims in Oluyole and across the state prepare to celebrate Eid-el-Kabir, Hon. Ogunsola extended heartfelt Eid Mubarak greetings to the entire People’s Democratic Party (PDP) family in Oyo State and called for continued peace, unity, and a renewed commitment to service.
> “Eid Mubarak. May this sacred season bring us closer to one another and to the values of faith, compassion, and collective progress,” he added.
