The security agencies in Ido Local Government have commended the Executive Chairman Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo for his consistent support and cooperation which fuels their efforts in ensuring peace and security in the local government.

This commendation was made during security meeting held at the Executive Hall Ido Local Government.

 

The security operatives in attendance included the Operation Burst Commandant, Divisional Police Officers, Divisional Officers NSCDC , O.C. SSS, Division Officer Immigration, FRSC, F.I.B.

 

In response, the council boss appreciated the security agencies for their efforts in maintaining peace and security across Ido Local Government. He advised them to intensify their efforts during upcoming yuletide and welcomed newly posted officers, including Operation Burst Commandant Major Samson Ukpanzeme and Division Officer Immigration CSI O.A. Afolabi.

 

The Vice Chairman/ Political Head of Omi Apata LCDA, Barrister Olayemi Oluwashina also urged residents to avoid reckless driving and report any suspicious activities or strangers to security agencies and stakeholders.”If you see something, please say something” he emphasized.

Other attendees included the Secretary to the local government,Alhaji Kamorudeen Gbadamosi; the Head of Local Government Administration, Alhaji Sarafadeen Aminu; the Director of Administration and General Services, Mrs T.L.Adeshina; CAN Chairman and Chief Imam representative.
