The Executive Chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo was presented with the Award of Excellence by the Irewolede Community during their vibrant end-of-year celebration today. The accolade recognises his unwavering commitment to community development and transformative leadership.
Seizing the momentous occasion,Hon. Adeojo commissioned the newly constructed Irewolede Entrance Bridge, a collaborative project funded by the community and supplemented by a #500,000 contribution from the Executive Chairman. This infrastructure will enhance connectivity, safety, and pride for residents, symbolizing progress and unity.
Receiving the award on the Chairman’s behalf, his Chief of staff, Hon. AbdulAzeez Yahaya dedicated the honour to all sons and daughters of Ido local government “This bridge is a testaments to what we can achieve together, Irewolede’s future is bright, and present administration ably led by Hon. Sheriff Aderemi Adeojo remains dedicated to uplifting our people.” The Chief of Staff stated.
Mr. Oyebola Alao, Chairman of the Irewolede Community, (Aba Asa Ile Tuntun in Ward 7), praised the chairman’s contributions, noting that the bridge will stand as a lasting legacy for generations. The end-of-year party drew hundreds of residents, who celebrated with food, drink and a strong sense of solidarity
