Executive chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo has commiserated with the family of Chief Bayo Lawal, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over the death of his wife, retired justice Beatrice Asesuwa Lawal.
Justice Beatrice Asesuwa Lawa (rtd) announced the death on Monday after a prolonged related sickness.
In a condolence message, the council chairman, on behalf of his local government and his political team, expressed his condolences to the party chieftain, adding that the news of his wife’s passing left many in shock.
Adeojo underscored the inevitability of death, describing it as a route that every mortal must pass through to eternity.
“ I commensurate with our leader, Chief Bayo Lawal, over the death of his dear wife, Justice Beatrice Adesuwa Lawal, a woman who has had an illustrious career as a lawyer and in judicial offices. There is no way somebody will live long enough that if he or she died, people would not be sorrowful over the person’s death, even if the person lived for 120 years on earth.
” Aside from being a soul mate to Chief Baba Lawal, the late Madam Adesuwa can describe a compassionate and supportive woman who has used resilience to influence her husband for good both in private, social, and political life” Adeojo said.
He therefore, enjoined Chief Bayo Lawal, whom everyone admirers as a great leader and shining light from Oyo state politics and governance, to take solace in the good legacy left behind by his departed dear wife.
