Ido CDC Inaugurates New Chairman Following Impeachment of Predecessor

The Community Development Association (CDC) of Ido Local Government has inaugurated Engr. Lawal Tunde Salaudeen as its new Chairman, following the impeachment of Mr. Adegoke Musibau Gbadamosi, also known as Alapata. The impeachment was due to several reasons, including lack of collaboration with executives, misappropriation of resources, partisan politics, diversion of government projects to personal priority zone, rebel to present administration in Oyo State and the likes.

The inauguration took place shortly after executive members voted against Mr. Gbadamosi’s leadership during a meeting at the local government premises. In a briefing after the meeting, Mr. Gbadamosi was barred from entering the local government premises or representing himself as CDC Chairman of Ido Local Government.

The new Chairman, Engr. Lawal Tunde Salaudeen, was sworn in amidst executive members, including Pastor Oladele Taiwo (CDC Patron), Alhaji Salau Moshood Olawale (General Secretary), and other officials.
