ICAGSOBA ’96 Alumni Honours LGSPB Boss, Ige, Olubadan of Ibadan, Others With Award of Excellence

The Alumni of Ibadan Christ Apostolic Grammar School (ICAGSOBA) 1996 set has conferred an award of excellence on the Chairman Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige and other notable individuals.

The award was bestowed on Hon. Akeem Ige yesterday 28th December, 2024 at the grand finale of ICAGSOBA 1996 set reunion/anniversary programme held at Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Akanran Ibadan.

Hon. Ige who was the special guest of honour at the occasion was honoured in recognition of his contribution and support towards ICAGSOBA and society’s

development.

Notable individuals also honored with different awards at the event were the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Ige Owolabi Olakulehin, the Chairman/CEO Ilaji Hotel and Sports Resort, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, Chairman Ibadan South East Local Govt, Hon. Oluwole Emmanuel Alawode, Prof. Olalekan Obisessn, Alhaji Ibrahim Tiamiyu, Amb. Tosin Ademiluyi amongst others.

Speaking shortly after receiving the award, the LGSPB Chairman, Hon. Ige who was represented at the event by the Supervisory Councillor for Environment in Ibadan South East L.G, Hon. Wale Adebayo appreciated the leadership of ICAGSOBA 96 set for the award bestowed on him.

While dedicating the award to the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde for giving him the opportunity to be a partaker in his government and success story in the state, Hon. Ige stressed that the award would spur him to double his effort at contributing more to the development and service to humanity.
